The CIES Latin American Special Interest Group issued a call for Cuban scholars to apply for the José Martí Travel Fund which awards up to 5 individuals with a $1,000 travel awards to present their research at the 2019 CIES Annual Conference in San Francisco.
In other to nominate or self-nominate a candidate, please follow the eligibility criteria and procedures and send your nomination to our [email protected] (cc. Chair Maria Jesus Rojas at [email protected]), before Friday, September 28th, 2018. APC President, Gilberto Garcia, received the award in 2018 to join CIES' conference in Mexico City.
